For BT's birthday weekend, we took a nice ride down to South of the Border to see Pedro.
The next day, we were off to Wilmington to see The Avengers 2 in 3D, eat pizza and (un-pictured) ice cream.
I made him a shadow box with memorabilia from our epic motorcycle trip.
Chuck got him this awesome Harley-Davidson poker chip display.
We had a wonderful dinner at Old Siam.
And he played lots of video games.
Chuck and I got our drink on on Mother's Day.
And then she got a tattoo the next day!!! I never thought I'd see the day.
Isn't it FABULOUS?!?!
The following weekend we rode down to Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Along the way, we ran into a guy with the exact same bike as BT! What are the chances? He ended up hanging with us for the rest of the afternoon. The amount of things him and BT had in common was eerie.
Garden progress! The zucchini quickly made it known that it'd be king of the garden.
Chillin' on a Sunday afternoon. Drinkin' some beers and lightin' some yard waste on fire. Yep.
Memorial Day Weekend we headed up to DC for Rolling Thunder! BT's buddy, Crazy J, rode along. We stayed at the Lake Fairfax Park Campground and they never got a fire started. ;)
We started the morning off with the Ride of the Patriots which goes from Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax to the Pentagon parking lot.
Once at the Pentagon, there was a lot of hurry up and waiting going on.
Amongst a sea of bikes.
Getting ready to roll out.
The next day, we decided to take the long way home and drove Skyline Drive the whole way down.
It was a beautiful day.
No trip through Shenandoah is complete without a stop at...BIIIIIIG MEADOWS!
The garden at the end of May.
BT spoiled me rotten for my birthday. One of my gifts was a MacBook! I opened it and then proceeded to spend an hour playing on the Photo Booth.
We have issues.
